About This Course

Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC) with support from Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) has been implementing the ‘Asian Preparedness Partnership’ (APP). APP activities are being carried out in the backdrop of the global COVID-19 pandemic with preparedness and response actions in APP countries primarily led by the local actors, namely national and sub-national governments with support from private sector, local NGOs and volunteers.

In light of the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic, it is clear that putting in place a system/mechanism to ensure business continuity within enterprise is critical for businesses to prepare for, respond to and recover from disruptions arising from natural and man-made hazards.

In this context, ADPC has developed this online learning course on scenario-based business continuity which is accessible to local partners in the APP countries and beyond. The course is designed to promote awareness and knowledge of business continuity and its processes as part of overall efforts for building business resilience.
