Welcome to the Green Climate Fund (GCF) Online Orientation Course tailored specifically for stakeholders in the Philippines. This course is designed to provide an in-depth understanding of the GCF, its funding mechanisms, and how it can support climate resilience and sustainable development in the Philippines.
Key Objectives:
- To introduce the GCF’s mandate, structure, and operational guidelines.
- To explain the application process for accessing GCF funding.

Requirements
To make the most of the Green Climate Fund (GCF) Online Orientation Course, participants are expected to have a foundational understanding of basic climate change concepts and be familiar with key climate change and climate finance terms. Participants should also be aware of national and international climate policies and agreements, including the Philippines’ climate action plans and policies.
